Travel Lift Details

Our Travel lift prices vary based upon the length of the boat.

We have round trip haul out lift rates, trailer to yard lift rates, water to trailer haul out lift rates, and a quick lift rate. In addition, storage rates apply to indoor and outdoor storage on a per day basis.

For use in the repair or maintenance of the boat, our travel lift can be used on an hourly basis. Whether it is to lift an engine, or to move keel blocks, we are happy to schedule it at the rates below.

Travelift Hourly Rate: $ 200.00
After Hours: $ 400.00
Re-blocking (moving keel blocks): $ 150.00
Stand change: $ 50.00
Forklift minimum charge: $ 65.00/hour

Booking Lifts/Launch:

When booking a lift, a launch must also be booked at the same time. If you do not launch on the date booked for the launch, the storage fee for the extra time in the yard will double. This is to encourage customers to complete their work on schedule so that other customers will not have to re-schedule their lift/launch dates. We are not responsible for sling damage.

Clean up fee: $65.00 minimum charge if space is not clean at time of launch.

Electricity and water: Price included in daily storage rate.

Environmental fee: $25.00 for use of used oil and anti-freeze disposal containers.

Fuel Disposal: Contaminated fuel must be removed at boat owner’s expense as Granville Island Boat Yard is not equipped for removal of fuel.

Holding Bays: First four hours are free. After four hours, the cost will be $50.00 per day. No boats over 32 ft. will be allowed in the holding bays at any time. This is to allow access to the lift bay for the larger vessels.

Power wash:
$2.80 per linear foot of boat
$3.80 + per linear foot for heavy growth
i.e. if staff has to scrape mussels or barnacles.
